Bucks sign Kyle Korver to a one-year contract on Saturday
The Milwaukee Bucks and guard Kyle Korver have agreed to a one-year deal on Saturday.
According to ESPN, Korver will join the Bucks after signing a a one-year deal. Expect the veteran sharpshooter to play off the bench in 2019-2020.
In 70 games last season, Korver averaged 8.6 points and 39.7% shooting from three.
Justin Holiday reportedly signs a one-year deal with the Pacers
The Indiana Pacers and forward Justin Holiday have reportedly agreed to a one-year $4.8 million dollar contract.
According to the Athletic, Holiday will head to Indiana after signing a one-year deal. Expect the 30-year old forward to play with the Pacers' second unit in 2019-2020.
In 82 games last season, Holiday averaged 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
Raptors' Kyle Lowry has procedure on left thumb
Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry had a procedure to repair tendon injury in his left thumb.
Lowry does not seem to be in danger of missing any game time next season, as he is reportedly hoping to be ready for this summer's FIFA World Cup.
He averaged 35.2 FanDuel points per game in 2018/19.
Philadelphia's Ben Simmons signs a five-year extension on Monday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons has reportedly signed a five-year $170 million dollar extension on Monday.
Simmons will remain in Philadelphia for five more years after signing a max-extension on Monday. Expect the 22-year old to increase his usage rate in 2019-2020.
In 79 games last season, Simmons averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.7 assists.
Tyson Chandler signs a one-year contract with the Rockets
The Houston Rockets and center Tyson Chandler have agreed to a one-year deal on Friday.
Chandler will reportedly become a Rocket after signing a one-year contract with Houston. Expect the veteran center to play with the Rockets' second unit in 2019-2020.
In 55 games last year, Chandler averaged 3.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.
Chris Paul headed to Oklahoma City in blockbuster deal
Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul has been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Russell Westbrook. The teams will also exchange picks.
Tensions between Paul and star James Harden were reported a month ago, and speculation about a possible trade has been brewing ever since. With Paul George's exit from Oklahoma City making Westbrook expendable, it was a natural trade fit. The Rockets are giving up their first round picks in 2024 and 2026, and the Thunder will have the option of swapping selections in 2021 and 2025.
